With Christmas a week away, how can we bring more awareness, cultivate a sense of connection, & enjoy our families and the holidays even more? With some simple mindfulness practices, we can bring this meditation into our daily lives.
Try this:
Stop where you are and pay attention to just one breath. Observe the in breath, cool through the nostrils. Observe tbe way the lungs fill, rise, and expand. Maybe you can notice the pause at the end of the inhalation. Observe the desire to exhale. Then, notice the warm breath out of the nose. Feel the lungs empty and the navel move in and back. Again, after the breath empties, notice the pause. Look for the impulse to inhale again.
Repeat throughought the day to reconnect to how life is unfolding right now. Enjoy.
