1. Which class should I take?
Take a peek at our Class Descriptions to help you decide. Be assured that all of our teachers are open to having beginners in their class. Try one, try two, try them all and see what fits your needs best.
2. Which classes are Prenatal Friendly?
We have a Prenatal class on Friday mornings, but our Light & Easy class on Thursday evenings and our Gentle Yoga classes on Monday & Wednesday are also open to pregnant women of all stages. We are hoping to offer more prenatal classes in the future.
3. Can I do yoga?
Yes! Yes! Yes! Yoga is great for everyone, injured people, out of shape people, young people, old people, everyone! Please join us for a class and see what yoga can do for you!
4. What if I have a health concern? or an injury?
Make sure your teacher knows about your condition or injury so they can make yoga work for you. If you would like some advice before coming to class, please contact us.
5. What do I need to bring with me to class?
You can bring a mat if you have one and any props that you own that you would like to use. But we are fully stocked and you are more than welcome to borrow our mats and props.
6. What should I wear to class?
Wear comfortable clothing, there really isn't a dress code for yoga, just make sure that you wear clothing that allows you to focus on your practice and not adjusting your waistband or shirt.
7. How often should I come to class?
As often as you'd like! Listen to your body and let it tell you what you need. We also encourage you to practice at home! Talk to your teacher about creating a home practice and read this blog post for some tips.
8. How do I sign up for a Workshop?
You can sign up on our Facebook page under Events. Alternately, you can contact us via email or through our Contact Page.
9. Do you offer Class Packages?
Because we already offer low community pricing for all our classes, we are not offering bulk discounting at this time. However, we do try and offer monthly deals for our classes and some teachers offer special discounts as well. Sign up for our Newsletter and "Like" us on Facebook to be notified of those deals!
10. Why are Workshops a different price?
The specialized training, extra time, and materials that our Workshops require is reflected in the price.
11. I am interested in a class that you don't currently offer or I have a suggestion for the studio, how can I let you know?
We would love to hear from you! We want to do everything we can to make yoga accessible and wonderful for everyone in the community. Please contact us via email or through our Contact Page and let us know what you're looking for.
